NAO Scholarship Announcement 2013
NAO $500 High School Excellence
Award 2013
Nepali Association of Oregon
presented the $500 NAO High
School Excellence Award for 2013 to
Swechya Banskota. Swechya is a
senior at Sunset High School in
Beaverton School District in Oregon.
A senior citizen of the Nepali
Community in Oregon, Mr. Krishna
Bahadur Shrestha handed over the
$500 award with a certificate to
Swechya during the new year party
2070 celebration organized by NAO on
April 13th, 2013.
NAO High School Scholarship in Nepal
Nepali Association of Oregon also announced the
names of the NAO High School Scholarship
recipients in Nepal during the New Year Party on
April 13th. The following three students will
receive the scholarship in Nepal for the year
2013:
1. Bishnu G.R. (Gahat Raj), Mohan Kanya Higher
Secondary School, Tansen, Palpa. Gahat Raj will
receive $200 from NAO Scholarship Fund for his
8th grade education.
2. Nisha Lama, Shree Bajra Barahi Higher
Secondary School, Lalitpur. Nisha will receive
$250 from NAO Scholarship Fund for her 9th grade
education.
3. Radhika Rajbahak, Shree Bajra Barahi Higher
Secondary School, Lalitpur. Radhika will receive
$300 from NAO Scholarship Fund for her 10th grade
education. |
